LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a professional services company in the healthcare space that is seeking a Controller of Shared Services, to oversee the financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will be responsible for leading a team of up to 8 individuals and serving as a strategic business partner to the clients being serviced. This role requires a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
A CPA license is REQUIRED for this role.
It is hybrid in Bucks County, PA.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Serve as a business partner to our clients, understanding their unique needs and providing strategic financial insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including ASC 606 revenue recognition, and oversee the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures as needed.
- Manage the full scope of accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification required.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
- Experience with full scope accounting, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Compensation:
$120,000-$130,000
