Location: Hanover Park, Illinois
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $20 - $30 per hour (This position can also be direct hire)
Work Hours: 8am to 4pm
Education: High School
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on injection molds and report their status to the supervisor.
- Operate machining tools and equipment for mold maintenance.
- Repair and test injection molds.
- Conduct inventory of molding tools and parts and report status to supervisor.
- Store and maintain validated components, while also managing non-validated components.
- Maintain stock inventories to ensure proper levels of component parts are available for tooling repair.
- Document reasons for mold repairs and solutions to prevent future manufacturing interruptions.
- Follow all procedures and training, maintaining excellent attendance.
- Advise supervisor of recurring production failures and escalate issues through the proper chain of command.
- Maintain logs of all molds that have undergone preventive maintenance and control each mold.
- Maintain machine cleanliness standards.
- Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations, as well as company security policies.
