Coffee By Design is a Maine owned and operated coffee company that opened its first retail location in Portland in 1994. The company operates two coffeehouses in Portland and and a thriving coffee roastery, which sells to nearly 500 wholesale and a growing number of mail order customers around the globe.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Specialty Coffee Sales Representative located in Portland, ME. The Sales Representative will be responsible for sales and relationship management with current wholesale accounts, prospecting and opening new wholesale accounts, and helping to grow Coffee By Design s online store.
Qualifications
- Sales and account management experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry
- Experience with and knowledge of specialty coffee and the coffee industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google apps
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in e-commerce, knowledge of CRM software, and understanding of specialty coffee.
