We are hiring for a highly motivated and skilled Lean Manager or Continuous Improvement Manager for distribution centers.
Description and Responsibilities:
This professional will implement and improve lean management, driving continuous improvement activities, mentoring teams, and collaborating with management to achieve business objectives while optimizing logistics processes, fostering a culture of lean management and operational excellence.
- Implement Lean Management and methodologies in warehouses and distribution centers across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
- Focus on continuous improvement, identifying root causes, and driving efficiency and quality improvements.
- Work cross-functionally with transportation, warehousing, and OPEX departments.
- No direct reports initially but potential for one or two as the role grows
Desirable Background:
- Strong background in lean management, continuous improvement, and Six Sigma.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Experience in change management and dealing with resistance to change.
- Ability to work on the ground, interact with employees, and motivate them toward improvement goals.
- Logistics systems & process improvement experience.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, although the role focuses on distribution centers
