Role Responsibilities
:
Assists in the daily operation of warehouse activities.
Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills to external and internal guests.
Maintains upbeat, positive attitude, friendly and helpful demeanor, positive energy and enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
Utilizes smiles and frequent eye contact and friendly tone of voice to project warmth and friendliness.
Is ready to serve and well informed of daily facility hours of operation, promotional programs and any other relevant valuable guest information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting.
Responsible for being familiar with and adhering to the JACK Entertainment Warehouse Policy and Procedure Manual.
Performs data entry in the Inventory/Purchasing system. All receipts are entered daily.
Responsible for overall safety, monthly inventories, unloading trucks, receiving goods, stock rotation, pulling inventory orders and making deliveries throughout the property.
Cycle counts different stock locations (freezer, coolers, dry goods, etc.) daily.
Ensures requisitions are filled in a timely and accurate manner.
Checks and signs inventory requisitions for accuracy before goods are delivered.
Operates and maintains consistent mail delivery, organization and tidiness of warehouse.
Responsible for safety and cleanliness of all warehouse areas as per internal and Health Department standards.
Pallets and loading dock are clean and organized.
Inspects warehouse nightly to ensure cleaning roster duties are carried out.
Acts as a role model to other team members and always presents oneself as a credit to JACK Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company procedures.
Check stock levels and place orders in Lead or Coach's absence.
Operates powered industrial equipment (forklift, pallet jack, stacker).
Maintains certification to operate powered industrial equipment.
Checks forklift maintenance logs and ensure roster duties/forklift checklists are being performed.
Acts as department liaison in Lead or coach's absence.
Interface daily regarding delivery status of orders with all departments.
Receives all items which ship direct to departments and processes paperwork in accordance with Policy.
Completes Invoice Adjustment forms to ensure credits are taken.
Assists is the role of Mailroom Clerk as necessary,
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).
Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
Respond to visual and aural cues.
Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.
Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Education & Experience Requirements:
High School graduate or GED equivalent preferred. Basic math skills
At least one (1) year experience in a warehouse position preferred.
Ability to read and write English.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Proven leadership abilities.
Able to continually push, and pull heavy materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver throughout the casino and hotel areas to deliver items.
Must be able to reach below and above shoulders while performing receiving duties.
Must be able to lift up to and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must possess the ability to operate a pallet jack, forklift, weigh scale and pull carts and dollies filled with items weighing up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to perform functions accurately in a noisy, busy environment.
Must be able to tolerate foul odors.
Must be able to work in extreme temperatures; below 10 degrees Fahrenheit in freezer to over 100 degrees Fahrenheit outdoors.
Must be able to give, as well as respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to operate computer as needed.
Must be 21 years of age.
