Summary:


We are looking to hire Java API Developer with experience with a financial background.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java APIs for various applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java programming language.
  • Implement security measures to protect APIs from unauthorized access and ensure data privacy.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing APIs and provide timely resolution.
  • Optimize APIs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing of APIs.
  • Document API specifications, usage guidelines, and technical documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to API development


Basic Qualifications:


  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
  • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs using frameworks like Spring MVC, JAX-RS, or Jersey.
  • Knowledge of API security standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with API design patterns and architectural styles (e.g., REST, SOAP).
  • Familiarity with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL.


Good to Have:

  • Experience in Finance / Banking industry some understanding of Securities and Banking products
