**Who You Are**

You will be responsible for checking in members and guests upon their arrival to the club, creating a positive first impression and provide the highest level of member service and an inviting reception area. In addition to your general job duties, you will provide exceptional customer service, creating an environment of hospitality and luxury and consistently demonstrating a positive and professional attitude.

**What You Will Do**

This can include, but is not limited to:

Customer Service

* Greet members and guests upon arrival to the Club

* Check members in by swiping their membership card and monitoring alerts

* Ensure all guests to the Club fully complete a Guest Registration Waiver and pay any applicable Guest Fees

* Book appointments and reservations for members

* Provide information regarding Club programming and facilities

* Maintain coffee offering: Brew coffee, stock supplies and keep clean

* Maintain smoothie station: Refill, stock supplies and keep clean

* Deliver exceptional service experience to members, guests, and Associates with a goal of retaining guests for repeat business

* Understand and anticipate the needs of our members; be attentive, listen carefully and follow through; provide exceptional customer service

Reception Desk Oversight

* Operate cash register

* Process payments

* Manage/handle cash and balance cash drawer each shift

* Perform opening and/or closing duties, as required

* Answer and transfer phone calls

Cleanliness

* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and stock levels of Welcome Desk, lobby area, and lobby retail and/or marketing campaign displays

* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of entry, including cleaning entry doors and keeping area surrounding welcome desk clean of debris

Communication and Relationships

* Communicate timely and follow up, as appropriate

* Provide membership sales team with guest/prospect lead contact information

* Active participation in required events, programs, meetings, and trainings

Other Job Functions

* Walk through the facility and greet members, pick up abandoned towels, and keep floor clear of debris

* Flexibility in work schedule, as job may require day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays

* Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response

* Enforce all club policies

* Promote the companys safety goals and actively work towards ensuring a safe working environment

* Interpret and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

* Make professional development a consistent priority

Requirements

**What We Need (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)**

* **Experience** - Must be 16 years of age or older and have customer service experience

* **Knowledge and Skills** - Basic computer knowledge, punctuality and maintaining a positive and professional attitude

**Physical and Mental Requirements**

* This position deals with outside personnel such as clients on a regular basis with contact in various forms such as in person, phone and email.

* It is sometimes necessary to deal with unpleasant or angry people with the need to problem solve difficult situations.

* It is necessary to adapt to a frequently changing environment.

* Standing for long periods of time is needed.

* Use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.

* Occasional lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds.

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
