King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott currently has an opening for a talented Casual Pantry II to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience.Brief Summary of Job: Works under direction of other cooks and/or performs routine pantry workunder general supervision.Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalizedservice to hotel guests. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. Assists in preparing and garnishing cold dishes, salads, cold meats, fish and poultry dishes. Slices and grinds meat. Prepares sandwiches. Cleans work area and equipment. May assist in serving cocktails and hor d'oeuvres to waiters. Prepares coffee and other beverages. Mixes dressings and sauces. Helps serve on buffets. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the bestoverall performance of the department and hotel. Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.***Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time***Requirements Knowledge/Education/Experience:Knowledge/Education/Experience: High school or equivalent education. One (1) year cold food preparation experience preferred. TB clearance card required.Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements: English speaking or bilingual. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Ability to maintain good team member relations.
