Job Summary Honolulu Freight Service is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator / Loader to join our team. Pay to commensurate with experience, DOE.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Load and unload incoming and outgoing cargo and freight shipments from shipping dock to containers.
* Arrange freight and cargo for delivery to loading platform.
* Prepare and examine bills of lading to determine shipping charges and tariffs.
* Freight inspection, monitor incoming/outgoing freight.
* Responds professionally to all customers needs and concerns.
* Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse by sweeping floor, wiping up spills, and keeping space organized.
* Responds promptly and professionally to internal staff and customer needs/concerns in a quick and courteous manner and able to bring unresolved issues to management.
* Work together as a team with all departments and offices.
* Comply with all policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.
* Complete all other tasks, duties and errands as assigned.

Job Requirements
* Experience loading and unloading containers
* Forklift, power tools and other heavy equipment experience preferred
* Basic math, written and oral communications skills
* Cross-dock experience preferred
* Excellent hand, eye and foot coordination
* Maintains regular and predictable attendance required.
* Work overtime as needed.
* Excellent written and oral communications skills.
* Must comply with the companys drug and alcohol testing requirements.
