Job Position: Fabricator
Location: KANSAS CITY, MO 64150
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr
Shift: 1st 6:00am - 2:30pm
Description:
Job Summary: The CNC Operator, Fabrication Tech 2, proficiently handles cutting, grooving, hole cutting, assembly, and inspection tasks. They possess knowledge of shop floor platforms like Mendix and are adept at meeting set goals. Working closely with the lead, they determine labor pool requirements and provide training support as necessary while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Duties may vary according to business demands.
Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma required
Minimum of 3 years of technical experience/CNC Operating experience
Ability to lead teams
Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and schematic drawings, as well as interpreting technical manuals
Previous forklift experience necessary
Forklift license required for specified equipment (obtained after employment)
Experience with forklift-mounted computers and bar-code scanners preferred (training provided on the job)
Capable of lifting up to 45 pounds
Intermediate level proficiency in operating generic computer systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word)
Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe work environment and report safety matters to lead/management.
Maintain regular attendance.
Perform daily shop floor operations.
Proficiently operate fabrication cell equipment.
Complete daily checklists and TPMs.
Be certified on all equipment.
Complete 5S duties.
Adhere to all policies and procedures.
Perform other duties assigned by lead/management.
