JOB TITLE: Warehouse Attendant-Used Oil Lead
LOCATION: Houston, TX
POSITION REPORTS TO: Used Oil Warehouse Manager
SCHEDULE: Hours TBD by manager. Weekends required, some overtime to be expected.
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience, position and location
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise warehouse used oil team and coordinate daily task with the used oil manager
Schedule all outgoing loads with vendors
Oversee inventory control and supervise shipping and receiving
Follow instructions, and maintain compliance with company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
Execute loading and unloading operations
Inspect and verify products before storing in warehouse
Deliver, stock, fulfill, and count inventory
Keep work area neat and organized
Work with a team to ensure quality, delivery and timeliness of orders are met
Maintain and service company equipment
Operate forklift to handle products and warehouse materials
Operate pumps, motors and electrical devices
Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with established safety procedures and practices
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
Locals only please. Must live within 60 miles of terminal
2 years' experience in used oil operations (collections and processing)
Must be able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel overnight if needed
Must be able to pass background screening including criminal background
Must have valid Driver's License and a good driving record
Professional appearance and demeanor
Stable employment history
Ability to operate a forklift effectively
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
Ability to lift heavy objects such as full hoses (minimum of 50 lbs.)
Ability to get along with others and work well in a fast- paced team environment
Good basic math skills
Ability to work from elevated heights
