**Warehouse Supervisor**
**Location:** Pryor, Oklahoma, US, 74361 ****Job Description****
International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF), Pryor, OK Plant has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team.
The position is responsible for supervising all warehousing activities for a large warehouse; providing training and development for subordinates; has responsibility for subordinate development, safety and performance, and will work under general direction.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
* Supervises the day-to-day activities and work performance of warehouse staff who ensures orders are shipped as required.
* Oversees the loading operation as to the correct truck or container order content/configuration as directed per the work order.
* Assesses staffing and material levels and ensures supplies are adequate for work needs.
* Monitors flow of materials through the warehouse process and makes recommendations for process improvements.
* Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment, file reports as necessary, and follow-up in the necessary completion of maintenance items.
* Provides on-the-job training for warehouse employees in all areas of their job duties.
* Tracks out-of-specification product stored in the warehouse to insure it is not shipped without a proper release.
* Initiate safety policies and provide training.
****Job Requirements****
* 5 years production and packaging experience with some leadership experience
* Knowledge of inventory systems (i.e. SAP)
* DOT shipping requirements
* Safe work practices
* Manage multiple priorities
* Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
* Work effectively within teams
* Skilled in supervision, time management and cost control
* High School Diploma/GED
