JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Surgical Technologist duties to include but not limited to:
-Responsible for rendering of surgical care to patients under the supervision of the surgeon and clinical coordinator
-Acting as a liaison between physician and patient
-Responsible for care and maintenance of all equipment, instruments, and accessories
-General cleanliness, stocking, and inventory of the OR/procedure and recovery areas
-Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
-Certified as a Surgical Technologist
-Minimum of two (2) years previous experience preferred
-Current BLS certification
-Participation in ongoing continuing education
