The Public Sector industry team has aggressive launch goals for new products and is looking for a seasoned product manager who can create new solutions that support the missions of government agencies. As a product manager in this role, you will create end-to-end solutions, from the data model to the citizen experience. You will be responsible for identifying the right capabilities and content by being the voice of our customers and then delivering them by working closely with cross functional teams across Engineering, Experience Design, Marketing, and Sales.

Identify the problem - Research customer use cases to identify the right problems to solve, why these problems should be solved, and the capabilities and content needed to solve these problems.

Manage solution definition and delivery Define the solution design by mapping capabilities to use cases and identifying gaps that need to be addressed. Define clear epics and user stories to translate the proposed solution to Engineering and UX. Create content to enable cross functional teams.

Balance strategy with execution Maintain the product roadmap while maintaining a continuous backlog to continuously deliver new features.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Translate product strategy into product capabilities and manage them from concept to delivery.
  • Create compelling market validated use cases & lead the ideation phase of the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with researchers and experience designers to define and test innovative ideas.
  • Validate product designs and prototypes with customers, partners, and stakeholders to co-innovate and test requirements.
  • Create journey maps and wireframes to effectively communicate functional specs to the Experience Design and Engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on release management: align on status, risks, and dependencies.
  • Prepare, maintain, and evangelize the product roadmap for both short- and long-term releases.
  • Effectively work with Sales, Marketing, and Support for enablement to ensure successful release and customer adoption.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 7+ years of software product management experience
  • 7+ years of experience building B2B and B2C enterprise products for a global customer base.
  • Experience in one or more areas of CRM (e.g. Sales, Service, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with multiple teams and facilitating brainstorming sessions to arrive at a solution.
  • Technical aptitude to self-validate solution approaches, assess initial feasibility, and drive discussions with architects and engineers.
  • Experience working in and delivering product or services in an agile/lean environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap.

FD21

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $158,500 - $277,500, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On-Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan, and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
