Regional certified public accounting firm focused on serving the audit, accounting and tax needs of private companies and not-for-profit organizations operating in a wide range of industriesis hiring REMOTE/HYBRID Tax Seniors and Tax Managers who have large Insurance (C-Corp) client industry experience. This a great opportunity to advance your tax career and specialize in the Insurance industry niche. Recent CPA firm experience is a must. Tax Managers are required to have a CPA/EA. This a remote or hybrid opportunity depending on your preference.

Seeking Tax Seniors and Tax Managersto prepare complex multi-state, consolidated corporation, partnership and individual tax returns for clients in the large C-Corp insurance industry.. Able to deliver exceptional service to clients and looking to advance your career and take your experience to the next level.

Requirements

Tax Senior - Insurance Niche

• Deliver tax services
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of this tech stack helpful: ProSystems FX, CCH engagement, Go Systems, One Source, Fast Tax
• Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
• MA in Taxation preferred, not required
• CPA license or on track to obtain
• 3-5 years of recent public accounting experience
• Prepare and/or review returns according to your prior experience
• Experience preparing morecomplex multi-state, consolidated corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns
• Some tax returnreview
• Construction, Real Estate, Pro Athletes, Manufacturing, Distribution, Insurance industry experience a plus
• Ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task, handle multiple assignments, and thrive with minimum supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Tax Manager - Insurance Niche

• All the above
• 5 plus years tax experience in the insurance industry
• Preparing and reviewing complex multi-state, consolidated corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.
• Work with other members of the tax practice to develop and sustain excellent client relationships
• Advise clients on a full spectrum of individual, partnership, corporate, and trust and estate tax services.
• Participate in the calculation and analysis of tax strategies for clients
• CPA/EA license required with with tax experience in the insurance industry experience
• Previous experience supervising and training staff
• Ability to self-direct, effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines
