Carrera Advertising is seeking a Media Buyer

The Media Account Coordinator (MB) reports directly to the Media Director (MD) to assist in media planning and tracking and to deliver quality service to clients. The MB assists the MD and account managers as needed, by providing Streaming TV/OTT optimizations and performance reports, market research, and client presentations. The MAC also assists the MD in developing and executing media plans and is responsible for tracking orders and maintaining organized media files. He or she will keep a keen eye on our campaigns for clients, ensuring they are performing, and programmatic buys are optimized. He or she may need to perform other client-centered tasks.


  • Strategy: Assist in developing media strategies and provide overall direction.
  • Insights: Offer valuable insights to clients, shaping their current and future media plans.
  • Leadership: Lead media projects with minimal day-to-day supervision.
  • Strategy: Assist in developing media strategies and provide overall direction.
  • Local Market Expertise: Understand each local market deeply and identify unique opportunities.
  • Strategic Thinking: Provide well-reasoned rationales and points of view (POVs), along with sound recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members to develop and manage media buys across various channels, including TV, radio, cable, and OTT.
  • Operational Tasks: Handle insertion orders, advertising placements, and manage campaign implementation, optimization, and performance.
  • Monitoring and Adjustments: Monitor pacing, delivery, placement, and flight date discrepancies, negotiating adjustments when needed.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze research data, media/marketing information, and campaign performance.
  • Time Management: Effectively manage deadlines and client needs.
  • Reporting: Maintain media flowcharts, budgets, and performance reports.


The candidate must be versed in Excel, PowerPoint, and Media Buying platforms.

  • Marketing: 2 years within the automotive industry (Preferred)
