POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for profitably increasing sales within the designated territory through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, virtual meetings, and other sales activities. New and existing dealer growth will come from product range extensions, new product introductions & new business development using the proven OX Tools Sales Playbook and Sales Processes. The marketing programs & merchandising strategies designed to maximize the OX Brand will support you to achieve the full potential in the territory. The territory is the north-eastern United States including the states of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute OX Tools Sales Playbook with autonomy to succeed in the market.
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams from the territory.
  • Rapidly grow existing and new accounts sales to achieve monthly targets by continual research of customer sales history and identifying opportunities, account management meetings, expanding the footprint within distributor stores and identifying and closing new dealer business.
  • Managing the territory to maintain adequate coverage/servicing to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure communication with the accounts is maintained through a cost-effective regular call cycle for the existing customer base to; present OX promotional activity, attend customers events, get opportunities to add OX merchandising display stands to current & new customer base and for new product introductions.
  • Travel expenses to be maintained & within the guidelines provided.
  • Attend weekly & monthly sales meetings, company, and industry events.
  • Complete Daily call logs and enter follow up information in OX Tools NA CRM System (Numerik).
  • Synthesize customer/market feedback to inform messaging and ensure strict customer focus.
  • Collaborate with executive team to ideate on new markets, strategies, partnerships, and product initiatives.
  • Create account and opportunity plans to ensure key objectives are exceeded and forecasts are accurate.
  • Provide inspirational, energetic leadership by example in-line with the OX Ideal Team Player outline.
  • Mentor and train distributor s team members on best practices and on the OX line to help maximize their potential.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  1. Extensive sales experience in Power Tool, PTA and Hand Tool market.
  2. Strong track record of driving revenue in the industry and selling to distributors, with a keen sense of how to efficiently meet customer needs.
  3. Strong network of existing relationships with relevant executives of potential customer and partner organizations.
  4. Ability to implement and execute repeatable processes within a fast-growth organization.
  5. Goal-oriented: naturally motivated to reach milestones.
  6. Outstanding integrity, credibility, and character.
  7. First class communication skills and the ability to win commitment and buy in to a common vision and clearly stated goals.
  8. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
