About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Account Executive with a strong track record and a genuine passion for selling technology solutions to project, application, mechanical, and electrical engineers, as well as senior executives.


We are looking for someone who is seasoned, hardworking, and highly motivated to achieve outstanding results within a small team environment. Your expertise in selling technology solutions and your ability to build strong relationships with senior engineers and executives will be instrumental in achieving our sales targets.


Achieving success in this role involves a dynamic approach to driving revenue. Your key metrics will encompass acquiring new customers, fostering growth within the existing customer base and implementing effective measures for long-term customer retention.


Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Drive new revenue by acquiring business through proactive and systematic outreach to target accounts within the designated territory. Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure, including presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and attending industry events.
  • Exceed revenue targets by implementing company growth strategies.
  • Maintain healthy levels of daily prospecting to ensure a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Record activities in the Pipedrive CRM system and assist in ensuring the accuracy of records while also helping to gather and document competitive intelligence.
  • Effectively relay technical details to internal teams and vendor support engineers, especially for addressing questions beyond the trained knowledge base of products and solutions.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, incorporating supplied demos, to clearly communicate the unique value proposition of our engineered products.
  • Take charge of all technical aspects related to request for proposal and request for information responses.
  • Communicate client needs proficiently to the Essential Robot Products management team and Essential Robot Products vendor support engineers for projects and product enhancements.
  • A background in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotic Automation, or Applications Engineering, or having worked with advanced automation technology to lead technical conversations is essential.
  • Demonstrate proactive initiative by engaging with customers, avoiding analysis paralysis, and actively participating in customer interactions.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience with a strong network in the Great Lakes region
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% to meet with clients and prospects.
  • Knowledgeable about manufacturing facilities and their operational processes:
  • Understands how Essential Robot Products products fit within the greater customer robot assemblies.
  • An exceptional level of self-motivation and high social intelligence with a natural inclination to win.
  • Superior time management skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical and creative approaches to solving problems.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with a growing team in a virtual work environment.
