As a Car Wash Prepper at Washman, you'll be assisting our customers during their visit by preparing and loading their vehicles into our car washes with the use of hand signals and verbal instructions.
Car Wash Preppers are constantly moving from car to car and throughout the lot. This is not a job for the faint of heart. Unlike other positions, you will be moving a lot and you won't be standing in one spot. Come prepared to move.
To be successful in this position, you must be able to:
- Positively and energetically engage and communicate with customers
- Quickly understand, retain, and follow directions and Washman procedures
- Continuously stand, move, and enjoy being outdoors for your entire shift
Current Position(s) We Are Hiring For: - 1 Car Wash Prepper (Tuesday-Saturday Start as Early As 7AM, Off As Late as 8PM (8 HR Shift))
Requirements
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Car Wash Prepper Responsibilities - Greet all customers with a friendly attitude and smile
- Guide customer vehicles onto the car wash guide rails using hand signals and verbal instructions
- Pre-spray and power wash customer vehicles using company procedures.
- Execute frequent inspections of the assigned wash grounds and vending area to maintain cleanliness
- Perform repair and preventative maintenance to wash, vacuum, and vending equipment
- Perform necessary vehicle pre-wash inspections for items/vehicles that may cause damage to wash equipment or other customers
- Administer lane and tunnel flow management
- Interact professionally with other team members and customers
- Perform other duties as business needs require
Housekeeping - Carry out assigned duties to keep the car wash clean and attractive.
- Clean and disinfect the store lot, lobby, offices, restrooms, and equipment.
- Sweeps, mops, cleans windows, cleans restrooms, restocks general supplies, empties trash, and pressure wash the tunnel and wash equipment.
