Location: Ridgewood, NY 11385: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
TopView Sightseeing is now searching for a motivated individual who is serious about safety to join our team as an entry-level motorcoach mechanic. Candidates with prior experience in diesel or fleet repair are preferred.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Familiar with industry-standard tools and procedures for basic diagnostics and repair.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair based on standardized procedures.
- Inspect equipment in detail for defects, and damage potential component failure areas.
- Follow protocol and create an action plan to complete assigned tasks.
- Follow all safety guidelines in compliance with OSHA, FMCSA, and state and federal DOT standards.
- Log and input all work, inspections, and other maintenance data.
- Assist coworkers as necessary.
- Maintain a safe, organized workspace.
Employee Requirements
- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
- Background in automotive/truck & bus industry maintenance
- Experience with industry-standard tools and equipment
- ASE certification, class B CDL, EPA 608 certification desired
- Basic computer skills
- Clear communication skills
- Desire to learn and adapt to new situations as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Employees will be required to complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check, including employment references.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
