Wage: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour

Job Summary:
The Staffing Specialist develops and maintains relationships with local employers to find subsidized and
unsubsidized employment opportunities for program participants and monitors employment worksites and
program participants according to Mission Services program policies and procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Develops and continues relationships with employers, community organizations and leaders to assist
participants in gaining and/or maintaining employment.
Understands and utilizes local labor market information to help individuals make informed career
choices.
Implements relationship-building strategies with employers including presentations, special events,
employer acknowledgement, and networking.
Meets with employers to give presentations/information that are designed to learn about the needs of
the business, describe supports offered by the program, and describe individuals' strengths that are
relevant to the position.
Provides outreach services in a variety of methods, as necessary, to individuals when they appear to
disengage from the service.
Monitors subsidized employment and/or work experience worksites and participants.
Develops a training plan for the participant in concert with the participant, the site supervisor, and the
program case manager.
Attends a performance evaluation with the participant and the site supervisor.
Maintains documentation related to participant participation to include timesheets, performance
evaluations, and paystubs.
Assists program participants with job coaching and mentoring necessary to maintain employment.
Reviews file information, and knows the assigned participants' vocational goals, medical, and related
information provided by referral source.
Participates in team meetings with internal staff and outside providers, as appropriate, and
communicate individually with team members between meetings in order to coordinate.
Maintains all documentation on assigned cases including up-to-date case notes and updating any
required databases.
Adheres to program standards and outcomes as outlined in program policies/procedures, program
contracts, and referral and accreditation agency standards.
Willing to work during off hours on occasion to assist in outreach or program presentations.
Performs other related duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team,
and/or mission.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to speak/read/write proficient English; Bilingual skills preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office/Office 365.
Ability to market and place individuals with disabilities, lack of skills, negative work history, justice
involved, and/or multiple barriers to employment.
Knowledge of the local labor market.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Works well under pressure and with deadlines; ability to multitask.
Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Honesty, integrity, reliability, punctuality.
Thorough knowledge about company's mission and services.
Uphold compliance with all legal, health, and safety guidelines.

Requirements:
Required Experience:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or abilities required for the
position. Individuals must be able to pass a criminal background. Individuals must have a valid driver's license,
liability insurance, insurability under the agency insurance carrier, dependable vehicle and a clean driving record
Bachelor's degree or experience in job placement/staffing.
Valid driver license and insured/reliable vehicle.
Background check.

Physical Requirements:
Free from drug and alcohol abuse.
