Project ManagerLocation: BillingsState/Territory: MontanaDepartment: Federal Services Continental US DeptDescriptionProject ManagerPOWER Engineers is currently seeking a Project Manager to work with our Continental US (CONUS) Department 0160. The position requires candidates who are licensed professional engineers or licensed architects or who have obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to be part of an engineering team engaged in engineering design projects in the Government market including mission-critical infrastructure design to include power delivery, power generation, power distribution, backup power, UPS, system studies, renewable energy, MEP design, and related projects.Responsibilities include managing design teams including sub-consultants, and working with federal clients on energy and infrastructure projects. The Project Manager will be challenged with working on multiple large and small projects simultaneously.The successful candidate must have a technical engineering or architectural skill set and experience leading design teams and interface with federal clients. Required skills include:Roles and ResponsibilitiesThorough knowledge of Government Clients and Department of Defense ProjectsUnderstanding of the Federal Contracting, including the Federal Acquisition RegulationDeveloping detailed Federal proposals and presentationsLeading and managing technical project teamsAbility to successfully manage project scope, schedule, and budgetAbility to successfully manage proposal efforts and the pursuit of new client relationships and teaming relationshipsBudget and cost analysis understanding Key Performance Indicators for projectsCandidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills, be willing to travel domestically and internationally, and must work successfully in a customer-focused, project-oriented environmentRequired Education/ExperienceExperience managing Federal clientsBS degree in Engineering or Architecture from an accredited UniversityFifteen (15) years of applicable experience managing Federal engineering or architecture projectsAbility and willingness to travel up to 30% of the timeMust be a US CitizenDesired Education/ExperienceProject Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)Ability and willingness to obtain a security clearanceField experience working on a construction site or site-related engineering O&M roleDemonstrated experience with the successful execution of design-build (DB) and design-bid-build (DBB) execution of interdisciplinary design projects for US Government clientsExperience with mission-critical infrastructure projectsExperience with mission-critical infrastructure projects including system studies, Industrial Controls, and SCADA-related projectsExperience with project management tools including but not limited to MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPointExperience with marketing and technical writingAt POWER Engineers, you can have a rewarding career on every level.
