**Location(s):** **CHIP PLANT** Areas of Responsibilities : ****3rd SHIFT: 12AM MIDNIGHT - 8AM w/MANDATORY OVERTIME****
As a Packer, you will p lace the correct number of units in the proper case configuration and carton according to the customer specifications while observing safety and quality standards.
**PACKAGING QUALITY:**
* Accurate count according to specifications
* Ensures that UPC, case label, weight, and code are correct to production schedule
**FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY:**
* Adhere to GMP, HACCP, and OSHA regulations to ensure safe and quality products
* Complete product changeovers as dictated by specifications
* Complete daily and weekend cleaning
* Complete proper documentation
**WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Perform weekly and weekend cleaning on equipment and surrounding areas
* Work with cleaning chemicals
* Always utilize all required PPE
**OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Perform any added duties as assigned by supervision
* Attend all required training sessions
* Work overtime as required
* Follow GHP (Good Housekeeping Practices), as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
* Work towards attaining and maintaining GFSI & BRC certifications
**Education and Experience:**

* GENERAL EDUCATION
* ABILITY TO FOLLOW VERBAL AND WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND COMMUNICATION
**P REFERRED:**
* HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR G.E.D.
* ADVANCED SCHOOLING
