MuniCap, Inc., a registered municipal advisor, seeks a motivated manager able to run complicated assignments. The company works primarily on major real estate development projects that feature public-private partnerships with local governments participating in development efforts through public investment. MuniCap has a national presence and has worked in more than thirty states and the District of Columbia. It has offices in five states (Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas). As the company offers remote work options, employees do not always live or work where offices are located.


MuniCap is looking for a manager who can oversee complex assignments. In this capacity, the manager will prepare, oversee, and review financial analyses. Additional duties include coordinating the financing team, preparing project timelines, organizing and leading conference calls, overseeing the preparation of work products, identifying and resolving project-related issues, managing client expectations, documenting recommendations, and providing final deliverables. Efforts will also include reviewing offering and legal documents and participating in due diligence. Throughout these efforts, the manager will be advised by an experienced senior leadership team and supported by a talented team of associates.


Candidates should have three to five years of experience working on municipal bond issues, including experience either as a manager, an assistant manager, or as an associate who directly assisted with running deals. The successful candidate should also have passed the Series 50 exam. A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field is required (suitable combinations of education and experience may be substituted). Training specific to MuniCap's efforts will be provided.
