Overview:
Fasteners company, established in 1955, is an international master distributor of fasteners and non-fastener products, including military, aerospace, commercial, and electronic components, representing premier manufacturers in the industry.
Position Overview:
The warehouse worker will pick, pack and weigh orders using an electronic scale and advise the warehouse manager of any inventory discrepancy or quality issues. They will also manage inventory in the P21 computer system, conduct cycle counts, and operate a forklift when necessary.
Position Overview: The Receiving Specialist will use the ERP system to verify carton counts and material quantities for accuracy, label and direct lots to proper staging area and manages grief issues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Verify carton counts on carrier manifests or bill of lading
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, and conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
- Verify material quantity for completeness and accuracy
- Operates a forklift when required
- Properly label accepted and rejected lots; affix documentation and direct to proper staging area
- Verifies received shipments meet purchased expectations and receives parts within the ERP system
- Initiates actions necessary when purchased expectations are not met
- Manages inventory in "grief" status until grief issue is resolved or the parts are directed to be returned to the vendor Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Forklift experience
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time
- Basic math and computer skills
- Prior experience in warehouse receiving operation
Pay rate: $17.50 per hour
Shift: 7am-3pm
