Intermediate Contractor Position for UCC team


Requirements:

The Communications and Collaboration team is looking to fill an intermediate contractor position on the collaboration team. This position will be 100% on-site, based at the TN Tower.


Candidates for this position should have the following experience:

Two years of professional experience installing, troubleshooting and/or supporting operational systems including integrated audiovisual presentation systems, video conferencing systems, remote control systems or video streaming systems.

Experience working with Cisco videoconferencing systems is preferred.

This position will require the successful candidate to support existing installed audiovisual and videoconferencing systems both on-site and for remote locations; to provide technical conference room support to executive staff; to train and support customers using their AV systems; to communicate with customers in person and electronically; to follow written processes and to document new equipment and procedures.

This position will include some travel in the Nashville Metro area.

This position will require the successful candidate to be physically able to work on the floor under a conference table and to lift 60lbs worth of equipment.


Job Description:

This is an Intermediate-level position for the Unified Communications and Collaboration team. An employee in this class works with the UC Collaboration team to provide end-user support and service for integrated audiovisual presentation systems, videoconferencing systems, Streaming video capture, web collaboration systems, and unified communications-related hardware or software.


1. Assists the UC Collaboration team with enterprise technical support, equipment configuration, and projects for audiovisual collaboration systems; process tier one, two, and/or tier three troubleshooting tickets; provides high-level support to assist customers with device network configuration, account administration, and web collaboration services (i.e. Webex, MS Teams); assists with the operation and support of integrated audiovisual presentation systems, video conferencing systems, streaming systems, and web collaboration applications.

2. Participates in technology upgrades and expansion projects: installation of hardware, software, and configuration of audiovisual collaboration systems; plays an active role in integration and user perspective testing for new products.

3. Maintains, updates, and develops documentation related to unified communications and collaboration applications, software, and related systems. Maintains documentation including processes and procedures, spreadsheets, diagrams, and charts, updates documents with equipment settings, software revisions, and configurations
