Do you have a background in vehicle inspections? As a Surveyor at our Houston Vehicle Processing Center youll be responsible for ongoing vehicle inspection surveys from vessel or rail discharge operations. Interested? Read on!



Job Description:

WHAT YOULL DO:

  • Audit in-process facility procedures and final quality of the vehicle to assure compliance with established quality standards.
  • Audit Rail and truck away procedures to customer's standards.
  • Verifies all vehicles VIN numbers and that the work scheduled for the vehicle is complete.
  • Maintain quality control records according to requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all quality problems to management.
  • Follow up on countermeasures to provide input to management that procedure is in place and being followed.
  • Perform other assignments as directed.


Job Requirements:

WHAT YOULL NEED:

  • Complete understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, accessory, distribution, rail, and body shop processes.
  • Ability to identify quality problems associated with vehicle and lead effort to construct and implement effective countermeasures to problems.
  • Complete understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, customer requirements concerning vehicle condition prior to shipment.
  • Ability to carry out specified work procedures and directions of supervisors or leads.
  • Be motivated and self directed.
  • Have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with manual and automatic transmission.
  • Good communication skills, able to work well with others and keep good relationships with others.
  • Read and understand SOS and suggest changes.
