Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Direct Support Professional located in Minneapolis, MN. The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities in their daily living activities. The Direct Support Professional will also assist with training, medication management, and communication with team members and families.

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Services and working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals and their families
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Training experience in areas such as medication administration and daily living skills is necessary.
• Candidate must possess a valid driver s license for a minimum of 2 years
• CPR and First Aid certification required. Preferred Home Health Care (PHHC) provides training for CPR and Basic First Aid.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
• Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug screening process
