We're currently hiring production assembly workers for a local Chaska company. The ideal candidate for this production assembly position must have mechanical skills and be comfortable with all types of hand and power tools.
Location: Chaska, MN
Wage: $18 - $21/hr.
Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties of the production assembly worker: - Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine size and type of material needed
- Configure items for proper fitment
- Bolt, glue, screw, or otherwise fastens parts together
- Fabricate according to specifications, drawings and/or verbal direction
- Operate machines that are needed to perform production work of assembling parts
- Test fitment of parts before modifying pieces and parts
- Measure, cut, and fasten plumbing materials such as: PVC pipe, stainless steel pipe, copper
- pipe or other galvanized materials
- Fasten and secure customized production material onto custom frames
- Test equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Assist with preparing systems and loose equipment to go out for shipment
Requirements of the production assembly worker: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related
- experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Measure quickly and accurately to 1/16th of an inch
- Read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints
- Experience and confidence with hand and power tools
