Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch service. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams to develop and maintain comprehensive insurance programs that meet the unique needs of our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial clients, building and maintaining strong relationships based on trust and reliability.
  • Conduct thorough insurance policy reviews and risk assessments to identify coverage gaps, recommend appropriate solutions, and ensure clients are adequately protected.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage enhancements on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals, renewal strategies, and coverage summaries to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling additional insurance products and services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and advocating on behalf of clients in claims situations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting commercial insurance, and communicate relevant information to clients and internal stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, focusing on account management and client servicing.
  • Active insurance license required.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and insurance carriers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance agency management systems.
