Job Details
Our client, an exclusive luxury home brand, is looking to hire a full time Sales Associate to join the team at their Georgetown location. Candidates should have open availability to work a full time retail schedule with the possibilities of working Saturdays.
Job Duties Include:
- Acquire and maintain thorough product knowledge
- Effectively present product information to customers including product care and after-sales services
- Assist in maintaining the company standard to maximize sales and minimize loss
- Build client base by developing a relationship with each customer
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Evaluate the customer s initial needs in order to advise product sales
- Customer Follow Up: follow up communication leads or previous interactions as well as after the sale.
- Accurately follow standards and procedures when processing inventory
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and maintaining accurate store and warehouse inventory
- Develop understanding of policies regarding customer complaints, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain standards of housekeeping and inviting visual displays.
- Ad hoc responsibilities as needed and assigned
Job Qualifications Include:
- 2+ years sales experience and with experience in luxury goods preferred
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft office and Point of Sales systems
- Excellent customer service skills
- Open availability to work, including weekends
- Ability to attend special after-hour events is preferred
- Creative skills is a plus
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
Salary: $22-$24/hr + commission
