Carriage House Door Company is a leader in the custom garage door manufacturing industry, and they pride themselves in meeting customer expectation. The CAD drawing technician assists the inside sales-customer service representative by completing CAD drawings for proposals accurately or to the request and in a timely manner. They are also responsible for answering any technical questions or information the sales-customer service associate may have pertaining to the construction of the door. The goal is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction. They are also responsible for the production drawings, to be released for production. These drawings must be completed and released to ensure the necessary flow in production and to meet the due date requirements. Through training, tools and processes they need to maintain superb process and product knowledge, to ensure error free, professional and efficient administration of all CAD drawings and technical support.
Essential Functions
Communicate issues or suggestions for improvements and assist in the creation, implementation, anddocumentation of procedures and processes that optimize accuracy and efficiency in processing CAD drawings,assistance requests, and general customer support.
Collaborate with Sales team and Operations Management to develop a cooperative and effective partnership;including follow up when necessary.
Strive to achieve key performance measures and benchmarks, established goals and action plans, throughmeasured and reviewed performance, and corrective action on performance gaps and other issues.
Maintain product knowledge, current technical and product application knowledge.
Keep supervisor promptly and fully informed of escalated or unusual matters of significance.
Answer phones and conduct business in a professional manner and use all forms of communication verbal, written,and electronic, in a clear and precise manner.
Through conversation with the customer service representative, determine their specific needs or issues, to resolveproblems so that they can complete order entry accurately and efficiently.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
