We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Suppression Technician with a strong background in Pre-Engineered Systems, Portable Fire Extinguishers, and Kitchen Hoods. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients' facilities. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities Of The Fire Suppression Technician

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems, including pre-engineered systems, portable fire extinguishers, and kitchen hood systems, in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer specifications
  • Conduct routine inspections of fire suppression systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnose issues with fire suppression systems, identifying and resolving problems efficiently and effectively
  • Collaborate with clients and provide professional advice on fire suppression system upgrades, modifications, and compliance matters
  • Keep accurate records of all inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and installations performed
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, new technologies, and regulatory changes related to fire suppression systems
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices at all times, maintaining a safe work environment

Requirements

  • NICET 3 Certification or higher
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Suppression Technician, specializing in Pre-Engineered Systems, Portable Fire Extinguishers, and Kitchen Hoods
  • Strong knowledge of fire suppression systems, including pre-engineered systems, portable fire extinguishers, and kitchen hood systems
  • Proven ability to install, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various fire suppression systems and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
