**The role** The Customer Representative (CR) is responsible for welcoming and providing exemplary service to our dntl bar customers. The CR is an advocate for our customers and is responsible for fielding customer questions and concerns with a sense of urgency, respect, and service, both on the telephone and in person. They are responsible for all paperwork associated with registration and coordinates with the rest of the dntl bar team to provide a timely turnaround on all necessary tasks.

This position is based at dntl bar's FiDi office and reports to the Store Manager. **Essential functions/responsibilities**

+ Brand ambassadors - create a warm, welcoming environment that represents the values of our brand: dental for the people

+ Organize and coordinate customer intake and other appointments

+ Input and maintain up-to-date customer info in system

+ Assist customers with completion of paperwork, when necessary

+ Scan, update, and file customer records

+ Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a prompt and polite manner

+ Process insurance information, verify eligibility, and address any questions about insurance (liaise with Billing department, as appropriate)

+ Handle cash and co-payments accurately and responsibly

+ Provide outstanding customer service and hospitality to everyone Inform office manager or assistant office manager of waiting room wait times, customer inquiries, etc.

+ Present treatment plans and payment plans to customers in understandable, effective way

**Qualifications**

+ A high school degree or GED

+ Experience working in any high-volume/high-intensity service industry (e.g., hospitality, restaurant, hospital, medical office or retail environment) *preferred*

+ Previous experience in the dental field *preferred*

+ Positive, welcoming, and can-do attitude with customers and other dntl bar employees

+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

+ Detail-oriented and a team player

+ Computer proficiency and superior keyboard skills (approximately 55 wpm)

+ Flexible/adaptable nature to work in a continuously evolving environment

+ Passion for helping others in a healthcare environment

+ Denticon user experience is a *plus*

**Physical requirements**

+ Ability to sit and stand for periods of time
