**Description**

The Customer Service Representative will answer inquiries on customer accounts, investigate any issues and find resolutions in a timely manner. They will serve as the liaison between the sales staff and the customer.

*Responsibilities:*

* Handles a variety of high volume in-bound e-mails to determine the appropriate course of action

* Ensures delivery of excellent customer services through fast and accurate processing of orders daily

* Communications and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquiries

* Serves as a liaison between external/internal customers and the industrial sales department

* Provides order information, pricing, delivery information and processes orders

* Builds and maintains business relationships with customers by providing prompt and accurate services so as to promote customer loyalty

* Assists customers in the selection of products according to their needs/requirements

* Utilizes computer systems to assist with pricing, availability and alternate product selection

* Receives orders and resolves order/pricing situations encountered during customer transactions using current sales policies

* Works effectively with others in a team based environment to accomplish company goals and to identify and resolve problems

* Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and errors. This includes obtaining proof of deliveries from the freight carrier and pulling necessary internal documents. Submit credit requests

* Enter sample orders, and follow up with the customer regarding the performance of the sample and obtain an order (if possible)

* Learn about our WLS system and help in data entry and some inventory control functions

* Contact truck-lines to ensure timely shipments of orders

* Performs necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, safe, organized working environment

* May recommend improvements in office procedures

* Conducts all functions, duties and responsibilities in a professional manner with a positive attitude and demeanor
