Description:
Our client is a full-service civil engineering firm is currently looking for a Mid-Level/ Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in their Fairfax, VA office! This is a long-term position with a ton of growth opportunities within the civil engineering & land development industry. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Prepare site and subdivision plans related to stormwater management, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, erosion and sediment control, pond retrofits - pond outflow & control structures, modifications of riser pipes, valves, weirs, pipes and/or changing the size and elevation of weirs, openings, valves, and other orifices.
+ Stormwater management design for a roadway corridor with Environmentally Sensitive Design.
+ Completed several culvert analysis and design, stream restoration, and hydraulic modeling.
+ Coordinate land development projects with the client, agencies, and company staff.
+ Assist clients with bonding and permitting procedures.
+ Assist other company departments in the preparation of re-zonings, infill lot grading plans and preliminary plats.
Skills & Qualifications:
+ 2-5+ years of civil engineering experience within land development, storm water management, sediment control and grading
+ Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
+ EIT Certification or PE License is preferred
