Job Details
We are seeking to add a highly-motivated structural engineer to our team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience. The position will entail the design and production of structural systems in commercial, mixed-use, industrial, healthcare, multi-family and historic buildings.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications and design analysis
- Perform construction administration related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections
- Collaborate with architects, designers and contractors on design and construction of projects
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in structural engineering field.
- Working knowledge of design & modeling software such as RISA, Revit & AutoCAD.
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited school
- Knowledge of national building and construction codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, NDS, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience of structural engineering concepts, principles, and practices.
- Knowledge of multiple types of construction is a plus.
- Field experience is a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
