Summary:
This position is responsible for packing smaller customerorders in a timely and efficient manner in the warehouse. The job starts at $14 per hour PLUS an earned monthly packing bonus that can be a significant addition to the overall pay.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Examines shipment contents, comparingitem codes to pick sheets for verification of correct items and quantities.
Checks all items to ensure newconditions and cleanliness of product.
Utilizes RF scanners to make sure allorders/inventory is accurately tracked, applying invoice number to salesorders.
Packs, seals, labels all items toprepare for shipment using hand & power tools, and packing materials.
Confirms items are packed toestablished standards & policies.
Applies shipping labels as requiredto finished package.
Stacks boxes on belts and/or loadsshipping trucks with sealed boxes.
Cleans packing station daily.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma, or GED equivalent needed. Any furthereducation/experience in the warehousing area preferred.
Must maintain a positive attitude, with a customer servicefocus in a fast-paced work environment.
Use of forklift trucks & order pickers experience a plus, but not required.
Should possess ability to multi-task, manage timeeffectively, and prioritize tasks.
Should be detail-oriented, focused, driven, and aself-starter.
Must have willingness to learn products sold, customerservice, policies, procedures, and about the trucking industry as a whole inorder to meet customer needs.
Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, andorganizational skills.
Must be able to work quickly and safely.
Passing a drug screen will be required of this position.
Shift:
Mon-Fri, Day Shift, 8am-5pm

Working Conditions:
Job will include periods of standing, walking, reaching,stooping/kneeling, and bending. Stair climbing and walking on uneven surfaceswill also be present. Subject to heat/cold conditions in warehouse conditions. Heavyuse of hands and arms will be needed. May be required to lift to 40 lbs. by self, or team lift to 75 lbs. Useof mechanical lifts required for heavier orders.
