Journeyman Plumber


Job Details

As a Plumber Journeyman, you will support commercial and industrial construction projects by installing plumbing systems and related materials.


Job Duties

  • Commercial and industrial plumbing installation from underground/rough-ins, stack out to trim outs on large scale construction projects such as healthcare, government, educations, manufacturing and others
  • Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation for water, gas, compressed air, medical gas and/or other liquids
  • Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications required for each job site to accurately install systems
  • Installation of materials such as copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping
  • Duties could include setting grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, utility hookups, etc.
  • Able to work off ladders, man lifts and other equipment from various heights
  • Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned


Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience of commercial plumbing experience preferred
  • Current/valid Journeyman license in applicable state
  • Medical Gas certification, (company will provide if needed)
  • Experience leading/coaching an apprentice
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred (company will provide if needed)

  • Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime if needed
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to pass a full background screening and drug screening
  • Ability to travel, as needed, for projects


Compensation

  • Wage Range Starting at: $25.00+/hr. based on qualifications & experience
  • Weekly Pay
