Job Summary and Qualifications
Neuro/Ortho (3E) is a 32 bed BRAND NEW unit that takes care of complex surgical neurological and orthopedic patients. Some of our neuro population includes complex spine, craniotomies, deep brain stimulators, pain pumps, baclofen pumps, and ICP monitoring. Our orthopedic patients are more acute than just a normal hip or knee replacement. We do multiple revisions and amputation surgeries, as well as knee, hip, and shoulder total and partial replacements. Neuro/Ortho is supported by program coordinators for each specialty. This unit is culture driven and strives to provide exceptional patient care and a teamwork atmosphere. At MMC we pride ourselves on providing compassionate, safe, and quality care, while instilling a nursing culture where teamwork, recognition, decision-making, and driving outcomes start at the bedside. What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse
- Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree
