- Operations Management:

For candidates interested in the Vice President of Operations (VPOP) position at IEI's Houston Office, the following qualifications are necessary:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university, or an approved equivalent.
- A minimum of 10 years of industry-related experience.
- At least three years of experience in upper management is required.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Active registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license is mandatory.
- Additional certifications such as LEED AP, Certified Floodplain Manager, PTOE, etc., are desired.
- Other relevant licensures or registrations that require Continuing Education for maintenance may be considered in lieu of a PE or SE license.
Travel Requirements:
- Frequent local travel is required for this position.
- Moderate travel to other IEI offices and markets may also be necessary.
