**Description**

As an **Interior Designer II**, you will:

* Understand the architectural design process and integration of interior design concepts with ability to lead and develop design element components.

* Manipulate basic design elements such as spatial layout, color, light, texture, and scale.

* Participate in preparing contract documents, including but not limited to floor plans and details, reflected ceiling plans, millwork design, furniture layouts, finish plans, material and furniture specifications, and schedules.

* Contribute to programming and space planning analysis and provides area calculations.

* Research manufacturers and selects colors, finishes, materials, lighting, and furniture for interior application, ensuring sustainability goals of the firm are maintained.

* Work independently and alongside team to meet project constraints within budget and schedule.

* Assist in creating presentation materials and models for client presentations, including graphic communications.

* Continue to grow in knowledge of project scope, budgets, and deliverables.

* Be involved with coordinating contractors, consultants, and vendor assignments.

* Participate in client and consultant communications and meetings.

* Collaborate with and support growth of junior staff.

To join us, you should have:

* A professional degree in Interior Design or a related discipline.

* 3-5 years of experience.

* Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software.

* Revit strongly preferred.

* Additional proficiencies include BIM, building codes, field observations and measurements, life safety requirements, furniture and interior product specifications, construction contract administration, and preliminary design studies.

* Effective verbal and written communication skills.

* Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn.

* Collaborative and professional work ethic.

* LEED AP or specialty within 6 months of hire.

* Licensure or in progress.
