Job Details
Plans, governs, coordinates and evaluates in-service orientation and continuing education programs for student nurses. Works closely with school or University training student nurses. Creates schedules and conducts training programs for staff development, and offers instruction in improved methods of nursing service and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing but Masters / Doctorate in Nursing preferred. Experience in educating students, nurses, and other clinical staff preferred. Must be self motivated and a self starter. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Licensed as a registered nurse (RN), and at least 3 years of experience
