We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Financial Operations Specialist to join our growing team. As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our day-to-day financial operations as well as contributing to the budgeting and forecasting processes. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong communication skills and attention to detail, and the ability to learn new processes and procedures quickly.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage the AP/AR cycle and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist in processing vendor invoices, customer invoices, and employee expenses.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Generate periodic financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and other insights while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using financial software, while ensuring data integrity across various systems and platforms.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices and efficiency enhancements for financial operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and draw conclusions from financial data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Experience with Plex ERP is preferred.
  • Experience with internal audit is also preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Work Environment

Bertec allows a flexible work from home policy. New employees will typically work in-office as they are trained and brought up to speed on their job as well as Bertec products and policies. After that point, work from home varies based on job function and responsibilities. In-office work will mainly be performed at Bertec HQ.
