Position Title: Product Manager

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid)


As a Product Manager, you will spearhead the discovery of product strategies, craft product roadmaps, define feature specifications, oversee product development, and collaborate across multiple functional areas to deliver solutions and customer experiences aligned with the bank's business strategy, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain deep insights into customer journeys and needs, understand the banking system and regulatory landscape, and stay updated on banking industry technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology leaders to identify and plan product capabilities that align with the bank s business objectives and long-term goals.
  • Develop product vision and strategy, identify new opportunities, and cultivate shared understanding across the organization regarding the importance and sequence of product features.
  • Ensure transparent communication of product strategy, updates, roadmaps, and progress to all stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Manage product requirements, prioritize stakeholder needs, translate requirements into feature specifications, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for product design.
  • Drive product development, manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and coordinate multiple development streams.
  • Capture comprehensive business architectures supporting the products, including customer experience, business processes, information systems, data flow, and governance.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing to ensure the developed product meets stakeholder and customer expectations.
  • Own the overall success of the product, setting timelines and goals, aligning the product roadmap, and tracking progress and performance.
  • Coordinate with development teams, sales, marketing, member communication, business stakeholders, and customer support to ensure successful product launches.
  • Conduct research and analysis on product and service quality, customer usage, and feedback to drive continuous product improvement.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in business, marketing, computer science, engineering, or management information systems; MBA or marketing graduate degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in software product management or equivalent, with a track record of delivering customer-oriented, complex software solutions.
  • Certification in Agile Product Management or Scrum Product Owner required.
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, collaboration, and empowerment skills.
  • Advanced ability to develop and articulate business cases, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus toward common goals.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in business strategy and roadmap development, including identification, prioritization, business case development, roadmap creation, and backlog management.
  • Strong design thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements elicitation, adept at managing diverse stakeholder needs and translating them into product feature requirements.
  • Advanced experience in implementing Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, able to effectively engage with all levels of Bank personnel and customers.
  • Experience thriving in ambiguous situations, making difficult decisions, and leading through adversity with a focus on achieving the right outcomes.
