We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Entry Specialist at our Baytown, TX branch with experience in inventory management and some familiarity with rigging. This role will be responsible for visiting each branch within the region, meticulously reviewing and cataloging crane rigging equipment inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site visits to various branches within the region to assess crane rigging equipment inventory.
  • Thoroughly examine and document the condition, quantity, and specifications of each piece of crane rigging equipment.
  • Utilize organizational skills to input accurate data into the designated database, ensuring completeness and precision.
  • Collaborate with branch personnel to gather relevant information and address any discrepancies in the inventory.
  • Leverage said experience in inventory management to implement best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Apply said familiarity with rigging to accurately identify and categorize different types of crane rigging equipment.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working in diverse branch environments.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inventory management or a related field is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail with a keen ability to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with branch teams.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with database systems and data entry processes is advantageous.
  • Some background or familiarity with rigging equipment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to different branches within the region as part of the job requirements.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments and handle physically demanding tasks associated with inventory assessment.
