Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Duration: Direct hire, full time
Pay range: $25-$28/hr W2 DOE
Shift: 3rd shift, 10:00pm to 6:30am
Job Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and improving the injection molding and auxiliary equipmentby troubleshooting in an effectively, maintaining a clean workspace, and making adjustments safely as needed.
Follows all safety requirements, policies, and takes action to correct issues when found
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all items related to the molding process and supporting equipment
General maintenance duties relating to the manufacturing plant
Support preventative maintenance initiatives and daily repair of auxiliary and molding equipment
Assists with mold changes and insert changes per the production schedule
Ability to assemble/disassemble injection molding machines and supporting equipment as required for repairs and installation
Work with team members and supporting departments such as process technicians, tooling, production, and supervisors
Maintain proper records of work performed through maintenance request orders (IQMS)
Support production and follow all company policies relating to safety, quality, and ISO
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education and work experience
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Previous experience working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
Previous injection molding experience is highly preferred
Computer skills including Microsoft Office
Good mathematical skills a plus
Read, write and communicate in English with the ability to communicate well with all levels within the Company.
