Excel Truck Group is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to join our 1 st shift team in Chesapeake, VA team. This role is responsible for performing scheduled work at our customer locations.
If you have experience as a diesel truck technician, we want to hear from you. Certifications are a plus and can earn you an increase in wages. Experience with Freightliner, Mack, Sterling, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and/or Cummins ideal but not required. Completion of a Diesel technician school and certification desired.

Major Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform repairs and or scheduled maintenance as needed as a mobile Technician at our customers location.
- Perform State Inspections and CDL.
- Diagnose and repair on the roadside and or not at our dealership.
- Prepare work orders for repairs and works closely with our Parts department to insure an efficient repair.
- Train and maintain certifications necessary as ongoing technician training and development.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
