Trustpoint.One is pleased to be working with a top international firm with an opening for an Energy Environmental Paralegal with 6+ years of experience in a legal environment to manage files and oversee all facets of matters before state agencies. This is a hybrid job based in their Austin, TX location.
The Energy Environmental Paralegal will analyze and report on metrics related to current matters, prepare legal documents, including discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, deposition notices, cover motions, declarations, proposed orders, exhibit appendices and correspondence, assist with document collection and oversee document production, e-file documents, cite check documents and prepare materials for court proceedings.
Applicants must have strong communication and organizational skills, have the ability to multitask and prioritize in a high pressure, busy environment, a strong work ethic and a willingness to take full ownership of assignments. The ideal applicant will have a Bachelor s degree and Paralegal Certificate, litigation experience within an energy and/or environmental regulatory practice, have experience using a variety of software programs, including Microsoft, document management software/iManage, Opus2, Relativity, Lex Machina, Docket Navigator, PacerPro, and trial presentation software such as Trial Director and must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
Salary is $70K-$87,750K, commensurate with experience.
