A Day on The Job

Front Office Assistants play a vital role in achieving PPTNM's mission by providing outstanding, judgement free customer service and team support. You will be the first welcoming face and will set the tone for patient services while you engage with the patient to collect, assess and verify financial and insurance information and make a determination of ability to pay. You'll provide financial resource referrals, collect individual payments and maintain all electronic records of provided services and related payment, day end receipts, and deposits of daily collections.

Your Schedule

We start our day with a huddle around 8:00 a.m. and typically wrap-up between 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. Front Office Assistants work a Monday through Friday schedule and could include some Saturdays. Part-time team members work an assigned set of full work days throughout the regular work week.

Hourly Rates: The starting hourly rate for this position ranges from $20- $25 an hour based on certification and experience. Employees are recognized for continued learning and workplace contributions during annual performance reviews.

To Succeed

Our front office assistants have successfully completed their high school diploma and many have completed medical assistant or a healthcare administration training program. They bring meaningful customer service and cash handling experience preferably in a health care office setting, as well as a strong commitment to our mission and goals. They demonstrate confidence and competence in providing a positive patient experience, navigating computer systems and managing PHI.
